 WINTER SHIPPING:  Please note that your order will ship PUROLATOR Overnight Next-Day  only  when temperatures are forecast to stay above 42 F (6 C) for a minimum of 2 consecutive days.  All 750+ count orders qualify for our 'Iron-Clad Live Delivery Guarantee' - as long as the temperatures remain above 34 C (39 F) day and night for the transit duration. Orders for less than the 750 minimum count still qualify for our 'Live Delivery Guarantee' so if your order arrives with some DOAs please email proof photos within 8 hours of receipt and we'll add replacement products to your next order to compensate your loss. 


Failure to report any issues with the quality, viability or condition of your product within 8 hours may limit or invalidate your claim.

In all cases the buyer is responsible for all shipping costs related to replacements


All of our Live Feeders Insects, and reptiles for sale have an ironclad live arrival guarantee, as do all amphibian, tarantula, scorpion, and feeder orders. and when you buy a reptile from us (or any live animal for that matter) you can trust it will safely be delivered right to your doorstep.

In the unlikely event that your feeders arrive in bad shape or DOA, we will require proof in the form of pictures or video of the dead, sick or injured product and an explanation of the situation, within 8 hours of receiving your order. We will accept digital pictures as proof of the problem.

Once we determine that you have a valid claim, we will replace the DOA feeders with your next order.  You can elect to get your free replacements immediately - for the re-processing fee of $4.50 + shipping and packaging costs. (this option only applies for orders of over 750 feeders).

Under no circumstances is The Worm Lady able to refund payment, and the buyer is responsible for any and all shipping charges associated with the replacements.


We ship products Canada-wide using mainly Purolator and Canada Post but we reserve the right to use the carrier of our choice. 

We ship on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (Overnight Shipping only).  We will hold your order during periods of poor weather, for any amount of time necessary and at no charge to the customer.  We do not issue refunds in the event we cannot ship due to the weather:  fresh product will be shipped as soon as conditions permit.


You can ask us to estimate your shipping charges at any time before ordering by using "contact us" --> Estimate Shipping.  

Replacements of DOA feeders are allowed when you notify us within 8 hours of receiving products.  

DOA Items must be photographed for proof of death and sent by e-mail to: TheWormLady1@gmail.com.  

We only issue a replacement product with your next order

We cannot refund shipping charges.  We DO NOT issue credits or refunds.

Please Note: We do not issue a refund on any prepaid orders, due to Payment Processors Fees. 

NOTE: Processing and shipping of your order may be delayed when temperatures are below 36 F (3 C) or above 78 F (26 C)

We will only ship your order via Purolator Overnight-NEXT-DAY ... unless temperatures stay above 45 F (8 C) for 3 or more consecutive days.  If you still want your order shipped using a slower service (3 or more days) there is NO Live Delivery Guarantee - your are assuming the risk of DOA bugs and we assume no liability whatsoever for any losses you may incur.

Notice to buyers outside of Canada:  Food products, and live insects, are restricted from importation by most countries and usually requires permits.  Buyer is responsible for knowing the laws of their country and assume all risks associated with Customs seizure.  There may also be import duties, taxes, or additional fees due upon importation.  It is the responsibility of the buyer to understand these possible additional fees may be required and charged to the buyer by their applicable agency.

BUYER'S RESPONSIBILITIES For Live Feeders Shipments

It is the responsibility of the buyer to contact us by email or phone, after placing an order, to determine the most appropriate day for shipping and to provide us with any additional information we may need.

It is the buyer's responsibility to make sure that someone is at the shipping address on the day the package is scheduled to arrive.  We also require an email within one hour of package delivery.   This means you must keep an eye out for your delivery driver to make sure the package is not left at your doorstep exposed to the elements. All guarantees are void if someone is not present for the first delivery attempt or if we are not contacted within one hour of delivery.

 

LIVE FEEDERS SHIPPING & GUARANTEE

We ship PUROLATOR overnight to the shipping address provided during ordering. You must contact us after placing your order to set up a suitable shipping date. All feeders come with a 1 day health guarantee.
